ABOUT

Designer Jenna Love creates handcrafted gold and silver jewellery inspired by the rugged landscapes of Aotearoa, New Zealand.

Recently returning to Aotearoa, Jenna (Ngāi Tahu, Te Ātiawa) creates her work from a place of connection — to land, and to home. Based in Tāhuna Queenstown, she is surrounded by mountains and whenua that continue to shape her perspective.

Each design often begins with a small detail drawn from nature. Hand-carved textures echo the rock formations of the ranges around her, translating the raw, weathered beauty of the South Island high country into wearable form. These textures, combined with colourful gemstones, create pieces that feel both modern and elemental — made to be worn every day.

Largely self-taught, and establishing her jewellery practice in 2009, Jenna has developed her practice through experimentation and repetition, refining a language of form that reflects both place and process. Her pieces often carry subtle irregularities and organic textures, echoing the natural world they are drawn from. This intuitive making process gives rise to organic, landscape-inspired forms that feel both grounded and expressive.

Committed to thoughtful, creative and locally made jewellery, Jenna collaborates with New Zealand based suppliers, and jewellery professionals, sourcing materials, where possible in Aotearoa, and Australia.

Created to be worn with ease every day, her jewellery holds a sense of the wild. Adornment that references the land, our connection to it, while remaining personal and enduring.
